Your Birth Journey

Having a baby can be one of the most wonderful and momentous things in life but it can also be scary and utterly overwhelming. I will be there to help you build confidence and feel as if you are supported in all the ways that are important to you.

You may want someone to actively advocate for you on the day, organise things, encourage you, use massage, or help with movement. Our antenatal visits will help you to define what type of birth you want, and what type of support you want.

These visits help to build familiarity and understanding, all of which help you to feel you are being listened and heard on the day of your baby’s birth.

Free Initial Conversation

  • I offer a free face to face initial conversation, or phone/ online meeting. This matters because you need to know that I’m the right doula for you. Just contact me to book a time.

Next Steps

  • you book me for an on call period of potentially 6 weeks.
  • there is a £300 deposit to secure the on call period.
  • we both sign a contract of when I will be on call and what services I offer.

Before labour

  • full email, online and phone support to help you through any questions or moments you need extra support.
  • x2 antenatal sessions with holistic antenatal support and teaching, lasting around xx hours.
  • I go on call 2 weeks before your due date, this can be for up to 6 weeks total if you go beyond the 42 week mark (normal gestation 38-42 weeks).

During Labour

I am with you as soon as you need me, some women want me to be with them in early labour, they are reassured by a doula’s presence, others want to labour with their family and friends until labour becomes more intense. We are all different. You may plan for one thing and want something completely different on the day, but rest assured, I will be there in the capacity that you feel you need me.

Birth Debrief

We’ll make time for a debrief fairly quickly after the birth and you can ask questions. Sometimes it’s hard to remember everything about a birth. People often forget lovely details. but I can help fill in the gaps and help you connect and reflect in a powerful way.

Post Natal Support

You have two sessions with me included in your birth package. After that I offer a minimum of 2 sessions at £16 each.

The full cost of services is £1500, this includes a deposit of £300. Mileage is charged extra at 45p a mile.

Additional Services

I also offer stand alone sessions for pregnancy and birth, please get in touch if you want to know more about what I offer.

Spinning Babies – getting babies into optimal position for birth. (Workshop)

3rd Trimester

This is a group workshop which teaches you the best positions that you can move into which help baby get into the optimal position for birth. It will help you recognise when and how to use these positions in pregnancy and during birth – for example if labour slows down it can sometimes be because of baby’s position and there are specific movements that you can try to support your body and your baby.

Birth Debrief

This can be booked whether I have been your doula or not. It can be incredibly helpful to talk to someone about the birth afterwards. Not everybody understands what you may be feeling, but I can be there to listen and help you to process your baby’s birth.

Face to Face appointments: £16 per hour (up to 2 hours)

Online appointment: £12 per hour (up to 2 hours)
